Javelin3 secure PDF Reader for macOS are free Apple macOS programs that provide facilities for viewing standard PDF files, and for viewing encrypted (secure) versions of PDF files in formats (.drmz, .drmx) created for use with the Drumlin Digital Rights Management (DRM) service. The Javelin3 PDF reader is very similar to Apple's Preview software when viewing standard PDF files and uses the same Apple-supplied PDF software library. Unlike most Javelin readers, Javelin3 for MacOS is a multi-windowing application (i.e. multiple documents can be opened in separate windows.
Most end users with recent versions of macOS should chose the latest macOS Javelin3 reader, with an earlier version of the Javelin3 for macOS reader being used for macOS 10.10-10.12. Earlier versions of macOS (pre-OSX 10.10) should use the Javelinm reader.
